Bring your pups in their Mardi Gras finest and get ready to march alongside strollers and wagons in true community spirit. It’s a free, family-friendly event that was a huge hit last year, so expect an even bigger turnout in 2026 as Cloverdale celebrates Carnival with its own quirky twist.

Frenchie’s Mardi Gras Block Party lights up the night with live music, food, and plenty of beads and revelry. Frenchie’s, a popular spot in Old Cloverdale, is turning up the volume for Mardi Gras with an outdoor block party you won’t want to miss. The evening starts with high-energy music at 4:30, local favorites, and more. Come hungry because you’ll find Cajun-inspired treats like beignets to satisfy your sweet tooth. Catch throws of beads and MoonPies flying through the air, dance in the parking lot, and mingle with the crowd. This block party brings a little taste of Carnival to Montgomery, blending funky brass beats with Southern hospitality. All are welcome, and admission is free.
Celebrate Mardi Gras all week long at Leory Lounge, where Carnival vibes take over from February 10 through Fat Tuesday, February 17. Enjoy new Mardi Gras–inspired drinks, festive décor, and laid-back lounge energy leading up to the big day.
