Cloverdale-Idlewild community

4th of July Parade

When: Thursday, July 4, 2:00 p.m.
Where: Corner of Lexington and Plymouth in Montgomery

Each year since 1975 on the 4th of July, people meet to parade up and down the streets of Cloverdale-Idlewild, ending the route at the Cloverdale Bottom Park with a short talk on the history of the holiday and to enjoy drinks and snacks. The parade marshal's identity is being kept a secret until the day of the parade. This year, they're looking back on what happened in 1823. Attendees are encouraged to go all out with red, white and blue with flags, decorated bicycles or wagons, or even pets in costume. 

Montgomery Zoo

Celebrate Independence Day at the Montgomery Zoo

Where: Montgomery Zoo and Mann Wildlife Museum

Celebrate Independence Day at the Montgomery Zoo and Mann Wildlife Learning Museum. The Zoo and Museum will be open Tuesday, July 4 and throughout the holiday weekend for Independence Day and for all to enjoy.  

Harriott II - 4th of July

Harriot II 4th of July Cruise

Where: Harriott II Riverboat

Come enjoy a two-hour cruise aboard the Harriott II with fireworks on the river and live entertainment. Cash bar and concessions from our Wheel House Grille are available for purchase on all 3 decks. Don't miss the boat and Happy 4th of July! All seating is general admission, first come first serve.

Sip-n-Cycle Independence Day Boat Party

When: Thursday, July 4, All day, starting at 11:00 a.m.
Where: Riverfront Park, 355 Commerce St., Montgomery

Cruises all day on the Sip-n-Cycle Pedal Cruise day. Wear your red, white, and blue, and bring your own food and beverages for a celebration riverboat party on the Alabama River. For adults only.

Montgomery Biscuits - 4th of July

Independence Day Celebration: Biscuits fireworks in Montgomery

Where: The Riverwalk Stadium

Get the July 4th party started a day early and celebrate all things America! MAX Fireworks will be flying over downtown Montgomery from Riverwalk Stadium after the Montgomery Biscuits take on the Pensacola Blue Wahoos. The whole evening is a celebration of Independence Day and all things America. Stay after the game for a MAX Fireworks Show!

Independence Day Celebration: BBQ, Brews, & Blues

Enjoy performances by Capital Sounds, Wesley Hill Band, and Asher HaVon, the 2024 winner of "The Voice."  Children can enjoy a variety of activities from inflatable bouncy houses to water fun and a splash pad for cooling down. Discover a diverse selection of food options with BBQ and non-BBQ vendors alike, and savor an extensive range of craft, specialty, and seasonal beers from local, regional, and national breweries. Following the Biscuits game, remain for a dazzling fireworks show. Don't forget to mark your calendar and bring your lawn chairs for a memorable evening!

Celebrate an unforgettable 4th of July at The Bluff! The festivities will kick off with the Brews, BBQ, and Blues show at the Riverwalk Amphitheater, featuring live music, and culminate with the Funknation Band rocking the Red Bluff Stage until midnight.
