An educational facility that explores the Earth and space through a unique perspective including light shows and presentations. W.A Gayle Planetarium provides shows every Saturday from February 3- April 27

The Montgomery Dragon Boat Race & Festival excites the city as it returns to reclaim its status as one of the largest outdoor events. After a hiatus, this outdoor extravaganza is back, promising a day filled with spirited races, vibrant entertainment, and a vibrant showcase of local talent and offerings. 

Situated along the Montgomery River, the location of the 17-acre monument serves as a poignant reminder of the trafficking of tens of thousands of enslaved individuals. This immersive experience offers a distinct perspective into the reality of enslaved people, utilizing awe-inspiring art and authentic artifacts to convey their stories.

  • Cottage Hill Neighborhood | Former Hilltop Arms Apartments - TBD

The Equal Justice Initiative is transforming the deteriorated former Hilltop Arms Apartments structure into a multicultural hub. They envision constructing a sky bridge connecting two buildings over Montgomery Street as part of the renovation. This revitalized hub aims to feature a hotel and restaurant, offering a dynamic space suitable for hosting small conferences. 

Everbowl is a dining establishment specializing in acai bowls, providing a nutritious and delightful choice for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
