What's New

On land and water, Montgomery, Alabama delivers on the new and exciting! Get inspired with two new large-scale outdoor murals painted by renowned French artist Hopare. Spot them at One Court Square and Lower Dexter Park.

Discover the artistry of eats and drinks at recently opened hotspots. Go with the flow at Montgomery’s newest watering hole, Red Bluff Bar at the Silos. Framed by towering silos, the bar delivers fresh food and riverfront views at a historic site. In downtown, 23 Court Cigar Bar is bringing back the lost art of dressing up for a night on the town. Enjoy a hand-crafted cocktail and cigar but be sure to adhere to the dress code. Also located downtown, the City Fed building has undergone a major renovation and now features the upscale Italian restaurant Ravello Ristorante. The menu highlights authentic Italian dishes while giving a culinary nod to versatile and local southern ingredients.

Make a splash when you take a river cruise with Alabama’s only pedal party cruise, Sip-n-Cycle Pedal Cruise. Gather your friends around the 12-person pedal station to power your way along the historic Alabama River as you take in the sites from a truly unique point of view.

In the summer of 2023, Montgomery Whitewater will bring a world-class, man-made whitewater rafting experience downtown, steps away from other top attractions. When complete, the park will include climbing areas, zip lines, rope courses, and trails for hiking and biking. With so many new places to eat and things to do in Montgomery, it’s time to rest and relax. Extend your visit by reserving a room in the stunning Trilogy Boutique Hotel at 116 Coosa Street, also set to open in 2023. An easy walk to Riverfront Park and Riverwalk Stadium, the hotel features on-site dining, including Waterworks, a luxury rooftop bar with stellar downtown views.
