The Getdown Concert Series

September 8th to October 27th - 3 pm 

The Get Down Fall Concert Series starts Sunday, September 8th, at 3 p.m. and continues through October 27th at Montgomery Whitewater! 

 

Zoobilation: The Wildest Party in Town 

September 12th - 6 pm - 10 pm

The Montgomery Zoo will be hosting its annual Zoobilation fundraiser event. The evening promises an array of culinary delights with samples from the finest local restaurants, live performances, a thrilling digital auction, and a host of surprises to make the event memorable. This year's gala focuses on gathering contributions for a new Reptile Facility. The existing exhibit, having fulfilled its role admirably over time, is set for a significant modernization. The forthcoming habitat will house renowned reptiles such as the Indian Gharial, King Cobra, Komodo Dragon, and Galapagos Tortoise, with distinct areas replicating diverse ecosystems like rainforests, deserts, woodlands, and mountainous zones.

 

Montgomery Oyster Fest 

September 14th - 3 pm - 7 pm

Get ready for a shell-tastic celebration! Lightning Line, in partnership with Old Alabama Town/LMF, is thrilled to bring back Montgomery’s Oyster Festival! Dive into the deliciousness of Alabama Gulf oysters, expertly prepared in a unique setting. And don’t miss the chance to experience Point aux Pins, Alabama’s oyster farm, a Grand Bay gem since 2009. For the ultimate oyster extravaganza, grab a VIP ticket and enjoy unlimited oysters, an open bar, exciting cooking demos, and an exclusive VIP area in the historic charm of Old Alabama Town.
