Montgomery United FC Soccer Team
Montgomery United FC, established in 2024, is the city's semi-professional soccer team competing in USL League Two. Home matches are held at the Emory Folmar YMCA Soccer Complex, offering thrilling soccer action and fostering local sports enthusiasm.
King’s Canvas Art Gallery
King’s Canvas Art Gallery in West Montgomery has reopened with exciting new updates, offering an even more inspiring space for underrepresented and emerging artists. Located at 1413 Oak Street, the refreshed gallery now features a dedicated exhibition area with seating, a back studio for creating, a welcoming front deck, and a striking mural on the building’s exterior. Just next door, guests can enjoy a new bookstore and coffee shop, expanding the creative hub’s footprint. The space will now host more frequent exhibitions, including solo shows and artist-led curations. A gift shop is also in the works, adding to the growing creative community anchored here.
Montgomery Whitewater Ziplining Adventures
Montgomery Whitewater is leveling up the thrill with its brand-new ziplining experience! Soar high over the park and take in stunning views as you zip across the dynamic whitewater course. It’s the perfect adventure to top off a day of paddling, climbing, or just spectating riverside. With fun for all skill levels, Montgomery Whitewater’s zipline adds a new way to explore the great outdoors in Montgomery.
Conference of the Birds Mural
Downtown Montgomery just got a little more vibrant thanks to the new "Conference of the Birds" mural by artist Sunny Paulk. Located on the side of The King’s Canvas, this large-scale artwork is inspired by a 12th-century Persian poem and highlights unity through diversity, featuring brilliantly colored birds soaring across a teal background. It’s a must-see photo stop that adds to Montgomery’s growing public art scene.
